Tenn appoints Wright as chief commercial officer

Tenn, the short-term lender for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-HNW individuals, has appointed Chris Wright as its chief commercial officer.

As part of his appointment to Tenn, he will become a significant shareholder in the business as it “enters the next chapter of its growth phase”.

Wright will be responsible for developing the lender’s range of short-term lending solutions, expanding into additional markets, and overseeing pricing strategies as well as sustainability and strategy.

He has been working with the firm as a syndicate funding partner for the past year, helping to finance a range of UK and international projects, giving him insight into the company and its employees.

Tenn said Wright was a “successful entrepreneur and investor” and has worked with multiple businesses as they scaled, with particular experience in “growth acceleration, sustainability and strategy”.

Steve O’Brien, managing director of Tenn Capital, said: “I am thrilled to welcome Chris to our team. His expertise and drive will undoubtedly help propel our business to new heights and achieve the continued success and growth we are striving toward.”

“With first-hand knowledge and repeated success in shaping professional services businesses, Chris understands the demanding and discerning nature of our market and has a wealth of commercial innovation expertise to further grow our product range and enhance our service offering.”

Wright added: “Tenn’s dedication to client service and its development of the business to meet an unserved need in the market meant that when the opportunity came along to invest and build value for the business and its clients, I was delighted to come onboard.

“With Tenn, I’m looking forward to working with CEO Matt Watson and the rest of the tremendous team to further grow the market that Tenn has defined.

“It’s an exciting time in the industry as advancements in technology enable a more frictionless experience for our premier clients; and with the specific capabilities available to Tenn, we are in pole position to offer a totally unique and inimitable service to our market.”
