Anam joins Beagle Street as senior BDM

The OneFamily Group has hired Claire Anam as senior business development manager (BDM) for its life insurance brand Beagle Street.

Anam will be placed in distribution director Holly Ewing’s team and report to Adam Cubitt, head of distribution. She will be responsible for raising the provider’s profile in the intermediary space.

Anam is a qualified financial adviser with more than 30 years of experience in financial services. She began her banking career with HSBC, where she worked for 18 years as a commercial financial planning adviser.

She then went on to work at Pangea Life as a business protection consultant, where she specialised in business and personal protection for company directors. Anam was most recently a national account manager at AIG Life, where she worked for over five years, overseeing strategic accounts and larger intermediary firms.

Anam (pictured) said: “I’m excited to be joining the group and look forward to being part of this journey as we prepare to launch Beagle Street into the intermediary market. My experience has helped me build significant relationships within the industry, which I am keen to grow further in this new role.”

Ewing added: “I’m very pleased to welcome Claire to the team, as she already has very strong relationships and experience within the intermediary market, which will be vital to the team as we expand our protection business.
