Clydesdale Bank lowers select rates by up to 0.32%

Clydesdale Bank will reduce select rates, including residential, exclusive and professional deals, by up to 0.32%.

The changes to select rates will come into force from 30 July.

Within its core residential range, selected two and five-year fixed rates will be reduced by up to 0.12%, starting from 4.34%.



Selected two and five-year exclusive remortgage fixed rates will be cut by up to 0.10%, beginning from 4.44%.

On the exclusive purchase side, selected two and five-year fixed rates will fall by up to 0.07% and will be priced from 4.56%.

In its exclusive large loan range, selected two and five-year fixed rates will decrease by around 0.12% and start from 4.50%.

Looking at its professional products, selected two and five-year fixed rates will be reduced by up to 0.32% and begin from 4.57%.

The lender is also bringing out a newly-qualified professional two-year deal at 95% loan to value (LTV).

Clydesdale Bank last cut core residential, exclusive remortgage, exclusive large loan and core buy-to-let (BT) on 19 July.

Prior to being a journalist, Anna worked in ecommerce across Snow + Rock, Cycle Surgery and Runners Need websites, and before that worked at specialist financial PR firm Rostrum.


In her spare time, Anna enjoys reading, seeing live music, and cooking for friends and family. When she gets a chance, she also enjoys hiking, skiing and indoor rock climbing.
