Mortgage technology firm Koodoo has partnered with Smoove to use its e-Conveyancer and DigitalMove platform.
The collaboration aims to improve the home buying process by combining Smoove’s local solicitor network and digital platform into Koodoo’s services.
The e-Conveyancer platform has a list of solicitors with transparent ratings, times, and costs, all accessible through a digital portal. Features include dynamic language support and case management capabilities.
Consequently, Koodoo can “offer personalised solicitor choices based on customer preferences such as location, cost, and ratings”.
Smoove’s DigitalMove portal, an onboarding and tracking tool, helps bring together key stakeholders in the buying, selling and remortgage process, which Koodoo customers can now benefit from.
Koodoo works for those looking to buy a home or remortgaging and aims to “connect aspiring homeowners with the perfect mortgage”. It powers price comparison sites in the UK and works with lenders, comparison brands and brokers on technology.
The firm also had an in-house brokerage, Koodoo Advice, that uses AI tools, and tools like Smoove’s platform, to streamline mortgage applications.
Mansi Behl, lead mortgage and protection advisor at Koodoo, said: “We chose Smoove because they offer a diverse range of solicitors across the UK, with transparent filters to ensure we find the perfect match for our customers’ needs.
“The platform is designed to streamline the process, making it easier to meet various customer requirements. By saving significant time and effort for me and my team, we can focus on providing the best recommendations and support when our customers need it the most.”
Matt Joy, chief growth officer at Smoove, said: “Our business is built on successful partnerships, and we are delighted to launch with yet another respected financial services brand. Customers of Koodoo will enjoy an extensive choice of highly rated conveyancing partners, and the ability to manage their homeownership journey through DigitalMove, our digital onboarding and communication tool, all backed by our industry leading panel and service offering.
“We are continuing to invest in developing technology to constantly speed up and enhance the experience of buying, selling, and owning property in the UK.”
