Pepper Money launches fifth season of The Specialist podcast

Pepper Money has released the fifth season of its podcast for mortgage brokers, The Specialist.

Hosted by Rob Barnard, intermediary relationship director at Pepper Money, the podcast will feature guests who will discuss their experiences and topics across the mortgage sector.

It will also cover the role of building societies, first-time buyer challenges, and technology and its importance in mortgages, as well as any interests outside of the sector.

Guests for the fifth season include outgoing Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) chief executive, Rob Sinclair, in one of his final interviews in the role, Kelly McCabe, managing director at The Mortgage People, Neal Jannels, managing director at One Mortgage System, Pam Brown, owner of Pam Brown Mortgages, and Paul Broadhead, head of mortgage and housing policy at Building Societies Association.

The Specialist podcast is available on Spotify and Apple podcasts and the first episode was released on 9 January.

Barnard (pictured) said: “I don’t think we could have ever predicted the popularity of The Specialist when we launched the podcast five seasons ago. Podcasts are a great medium to digest information, but it’s become a very crowded space, so to continue to attract so many listeners and such great guests is really exciting.

“It’s always been my mission to keep the podcast relevant and helpful, talking about real topics that are pertinent to brokers, with episodes that are short and punchy, informal but very informative. We’ve stuck to these principles for season five and we can’t wait to see what reaction we get for each episode.”
