Tab has promoted Andy Reid to the role of sales director and appointed Nick Robinson to the role of CFO.
The firm said the appointments were part of a “series of strategic update[s]” within its leadership team, adding that it had restructured its business development manager (BDM) team and added to its underwriting team.
Reid will lead the company’s sales operations and work with the sales and marketing teams to grow Tab’s reach and develop broker relationships.
He has worked at the firm for around a year, initially joining as a senior sales account manager. Prior to that, he was a relationship manager at GB Bank for just under a year.
Reid was also a sales director at Pivot Finance for around a year and has also held senior roles at TFG Capital and Market Financial Solutions.
Reid said: “I am excited to take on the role of sales director at Tab, where I will have the opportunity to lead both our external and internal sales teams. This responsibility will allow us to further elevate the business and drive continued growth within Tab.

“The remarkable increase in business we’ve seen over the past two quarters, funding more cases in the last six months than we did throughout 2023, speaks to our lending capabilities and underscores our strong reputation within the specialist lending sector.”
He continued: “Collaboration will remain a key focus, as we work closely with our broker network, introducers, and third-party relationships to ensure we engage the most suitable lawyers and valuers to streamline the process from the outset.
“The seamless integration of all parties involved is vital, and I am fortunate to be working alongside such a dedicated team at Tab. I am incredibly grateful to Duncan, Stephen, and Nick for their trust and support in my ability to drive the business forward to new heights.”
Robinson takes on the role of CFO, and has previously worked at organisations like Mastercard.
He added: “I am looking forward to working with everyone at Tab, continuing the journey of scaling processes and systems across the business to capture the growth opportunities ahead. I like to roll up my sleeves and get stuck in, so do pull me in – I always have time to explore ideas and help develop initiatives.”
BDM team restructure
Tab said the BDM restructure included the introduction of new roles that would “enhance regional coverage and client service”.
Sophie Meller will take on the role of national account manager for the South, Martyn Evans will be the national account manager in the North and Yohann Ifrah will be a junior BDM.
Meller has been with the firm for around two years and before that was at GetGround and Foxtons.
Ifrah has been with the company for around three years, joining as a lending administrator and then becoming an internal BDM.
Evans has worked at Tab for around a year, and prior to that was at Market Financial Solutions, LiveMore and Landbay.
Barry Richardson will join the underwriting team as a senior underwriter. He joins from Shawbrook, where he was a senior bridging underwriter for around two years, and prior to that, he was at West One Loans for nearly five years.
