The Right Mortgage hires Carr as customer service head

The Right Mortgage and Protection Network has hired Abigail Carr as its head of customer service.

In the new role at The Right Mortgage, Carr will be responsible for directing and managing activities related to the delivery of effective customer service by the network’s appointed representative (AR) firms and advisers.

She will be the main point of contact for customer service issues, and will collaborate with department heads, implement and maintain customer data collection, create plans and targets for the customer service team, maintain relationships with advisers, and organise training and development for the customer service team.

Carr will work alongside Sharon Jeynes and Leah Thomas.

She has worked at The Right Mortgage for around six years, initially joining as a mortgage adviser administrator in 2018 and then taking on the role of onboarding manager in 2021.

Prior to that, Carr was operations manager at The Right DA Club for around three years.

Carr said: “We never lose sight of the fact our advisers are our customers. We pride ourselves on treating all our advisers with the same respect regardless of business levels and continually ask for feedback from our members to improve our service to them.

“As we continue to level up our support to ARs and their advisers, our newly expanded team will help us continue to deliver a personable service to our members. At The Right Mortgage, we recognise the important role customer services has, and that’s why we’re bolstering our dedicated support to maximise those relationships for all involved – after all, our advisers are our customers.”

The Right Mortgage recently appointed Mark Gould as national account manager, reporting to Amanda Wilson, director of The Right Mortgage.
